There's still hope...

What should we expect to do in future fundraising events?

Commodifying our charitable causes, and victimizing the patients. Proposing a different perspective, patients can be empowered instead. Ie. to actually focus on how their lives would improve after getting the help, instead of exposing their sorrows before they achieve any help.

Someone mentioned about informed choices, that the patient had a choice to be 'exploited'/used to raise the chances of fundraising. Well, how do you exactly talk about informed choices when you have a powerful medium of organisation against the weaker minorities in society? How do you measure the degree of willingness to participate in such activities when u are dependent on the organisation?

*SIGH*

really hope we can find a way to do fundraising/ encourage people to continue contributions...
